![]() I get why the main guy would feel sentimentality esp when he finally acknowledged his feelings for her and got the closure he needed from his dear friend. Like it didn't occur to her he might just come back which the main guy obviously did. Like why would she visit the main guy in Tokyo when she's obviously just been invited to a class reunion. But still, her impulsiveness and not thinking straight about anything is still there and just made me facepalm heavily □♀️. I would understand why she would feel sentimentality towards the main guy when the reunion was brought up. She did show potential for maturity when the main guy called her out in the hotel room about her coffee shop bs. Despite her being a biatch it's not like she's not redeemable. However, I agree that the main girl didn't change much at the end of the movie which is meh I guess. It's a realistic take how egoistic teenagers are and how small their world can be.
